This season fake lashes are all the rage so whether you are going out with the girls, partying with the boys or celebrating with the family, false eyelashes are a must do make-up addition this winter.
Lash extensions can easily spoil the natural eye shape, so don’t ask for them too long and once applied they will take weeks to drop off.
Individual lashes are sold in lengths of short, medium and long but generally the short are best unless you want an extreme look.
Half lashes are great for accentuating the outer corners of the eyes. Strip lashes can be trimmed down to your liking, or if they are uncomfortable in the corners you may cut a little off one end, but all lashes take getting used to.
Apply all your make-up except your lips before thinking about eyelashes.
Always wear an eyeliner so that you do not see the false eyelash base.
Apply mascara before you apply false eyelashes, to help them to blend better with your own.
Squeeze eyelash glue along the eyelashes, being careful not to apply too much.
Pick the lashes up with tweezers and bring them as close to your natural lash line as possible.
When the false eyelashes are in place use your fingers to adjust slightly and allow to dry.
